Whirlpool dishwasher was leaking out of the diverter Dan O. • Liberty, MO • January 19, 2015 My Repair & Advice After going on line to diagnose the problem I did an extensive search for a new diverter motor AND the special washer that surrounds the plunger on the diverter. I found the diverter but the "washer" alone could not be found in the US. I did find one in the UK but wasn't willing to wait and take the chance it was the correct part. I called a repair service to find out if they could obtain the parts I needed, rudely they explained they could come out to my house and diagnose what the problem was and charge me 80 bucks that would come off of the repair if they did the repair. The costs would outweigh the cost of an entire sump, motor and washer. So I decided to order the sump (which included everything). 138 bucks plus shipping 143 and change. It arrived two days later, it was in my washer in less than two hours and actually has quieted the whirlpool gold series down----I'm assuming the issue was present when I installed the dishwasher three years ago and just got steadily worse. Great service, excellent delivery time, perfect match for what I needed! I would do the same again if ever needed. Was this review helpful to you?
