Water does not drain. Checked the pump and it only humms when selector hits drain.

You will want to make sure that there is nothing clogged in the drain or drain lines. If nothing clogged then you would want to replace the drain pump.
I have MAH4000awq Maytag Neptune front load washer,it go through all the cycles and the drum empties but the clothes is very wet
check the pump and hoses all are clear,took the back inspection cover off and look to see if the drum was turning,when it was turning it was real slow. could this

Open the control panel and look near the middle of the board for a small resistor that is located just above a square capacitor. It will be listed on the board as R-11. If this resistor is burned, the wax motor 22002119 in the door latch assembly and the machine control board 22002989 that contains the R-11 resistor will have to be replaced. If this resistor isn't burned, you need to remove the P3 connector, (far left front front of machine), and test with an ohm meter from orange 40, pin 2 to pin red 23, pin 4. If the connection shows no continuity, there are three out-of-balance switches that will need to be checked. The first is at the front bottom of the tub assembly. Remove the 4 screws from around the door, (two will go through the door hinges). Remove the door and the front panel and the switch is in the center with two large blue wires going to it. These wires are known for breaking. Pull on them to make sure they haven't broken. Of course you need to test the switch for continuity open and closed.
The next switch is on the left rear strut. This switch was eliminated by the manufacturer so you can cut the wires and splice them together and wrap them with electrical tape to prevent a short. This effectively bypasses this switch. The las one is on the side of the tubon the right side as you face the unit. It is really hard to get to, but this switch is known to fail also. need to know about servicing this unit and I would love to send you some illustrated instructions, but the delivery to the e-mail address you provided failed permanently. If you could provide a good e-mail address, I will send this information to you.
Turn to cycle to start and nothing happens. Turn cycle to rinse and pump kicks on.

Answer Hello Ron. If you turn on the machine and no water comes in, you will need to test and see if there is power coming to the water valve. If so, and no water comes in, replace the water valve 22002795. Hope this Helps.
