I would like to replace the oven racks in my Jenn-Air double oven as they were left in during a self-cleaning cycle and have turned dark.
Why is the top oven rack (ap429326) so much less expensive then the bottom rack (ap4500664)? (top oven self cleaning/ bottom not)

Answer Stevi, In most cases, the manufacturer dictates the cost of a replacement part. The cost is usually based on the: composition , intricacy and availability of the part. I'm sure you'll find the lower oven rack is a bit more intricate design, than the upper oven rack. Good Luck
