can the cook top receptacle be replaced without removing the stove from the counter and dismanteling the top of the entire stove.
Answer ED, Sorry, No it can't, You're on target you'll need to raise the cooktop out of the counter top, support it over the opening with a couple of wooden 1X2's and pads, is the easiest way to do it. Remove the outer perimeter screws, remove th3e bay opening screws, remove or manipulate the control panel and switches, then remove the top trim assembly. You can now lift the bay assembly out enough to access the retainer strap screws, and receptacles.
I am trying to find the wire harness that clips into the back of this receptacle. has 4 wires which attach to this ceramic terminal. Any ideas of what this part number is?
Answer Hello Mark,
As far as I know, the complete harness isn't available. There is a repair kit availble that replaces the ceramic block and the wire ends that fit into it. The part number is 12001676.
