There is a green ground wire connected to my old defrost timer. It appears to just be connected to the frame of the old timer. There is no place to connect this on the replacement timer. Does the replacement unit not need the ground wire?

Latest Questions

On May 13th I purchased a defrost timer (Order # 3363101, Part # AP3110896) for a Whirlpool Side by Side Refrigerator/Freezer Model # ED5FTGXKQ02. I have received the part and reviewed the installation instructions. This being a universal defrost timer I must connect a jumper wire on the timer based on one of three wiring configurations (as shown on the wiring diagram). The problem is that I can not locate the wiring diagram/schematic for the ED5FTGXKQ02. How can I determine what jumper configuration to use?

I am looking to find out where the freon is on this fridge. Is it confined to the rear or does it run through the sides of the fridge also? I am looking to turn it into a kegorator and what to put the tap on the side instead of the door if possible. Please let me know. Thanks

My refrigerator will not get cold the compressor makes a clicking noise so I replaced the start device and the run capacitor but it still does not get cold I manually turned the defrost timer but that didn't help When I turn the cold control thermostat it does turn off and on so does that mean that part is good or can it still be bad
