Answer Richard, Based on the wiring diagram for an ED5FTGXKQ02 you will use the "Version 2" Cumulative compressor run application. You'll use the Procedure 3 wiring information (pg 3) loose timer wire on term.1,Orange wire on term 1, Pink wire on term.2,White wire on term.3 Red wire on term. 4. of the new timer.

Answer Donna, If the compressor is running and the unit is not cooling then you will want to check to make sure that the evaporator fan motor is running. Also check the evaporator coils for a frost pattern. If the coils are impacted with ice then you have a defrost failure. Turn the defrost timer while the rear cover in the freezer is off and wait 5 to 10 minutes to see if the impacted coils start to melt. If so then replace the timer. If there is no frost pattern with the compressor running then there is a sealed system failure.
