How do I install a new refrigerator and freezer door gasket for a Crosley refrigerator?

Answer Hello J.,
You will need to completely empty the door liners. Looking under the edge of the door gasket, there are screws holding the door liner and gaskets in place. Remove these to get the old ones off. When reinstalling, you will need to start all of the screws first. After they are started, then go around the door and tighten them. If this procedure isn't followed, you will have to go around and re-loosen them to get the door gasket to fit properly. When you get them on, if the gasket doesn't seat properly, heat the door seal with a hair dryer until it seats. Leave the door closed until it cools so it will retain its' shape. You can speed up the cooling by rubbing the seal with an ice cube with the door shut and the door seal conformed, but it will cool down in 10 to 15 minutes on its' own if the unit is running and down to temperature.
