Ice maker not functioning correctly. Yesterday it would give any ice at all, and ice was sitting inside the unit. Today it may have done a little ice, but when I got home, the light is flashing 2 times, constantly when the door is open. When I close the flat on the right side, it still flashes 2 times. When I also hit the button at the top to turn off the light and simulate the door is closed, it doesn't flash at all. What is that probably and issue with?

Ice maker makes too much Ice. When bin is full it does not stop making ice and it over flows.

Ice maker not making ice. I have confirmed that fill valve will work and does fill with water, but I had to manually energize coil on fill valve since I have no wiring diagram to show what energizes fill valve. I know it could either be the door switch or ice maker it self. I did fill up ice maker with water with a cup and it did make and dump ice. So I just need to confirm witch part may be bad. I think its door switch.

When I press my water dispenser it tries to give me ice. I just recently replaced the filter and water inlet valve because I was not getting ice or water. Ice is working fine now. What could be causing this?

Ice maker not filling with water. Ensured sufficient water pressure from line and the actual water dispenser flows perfectly. Infrared receiver blinks twice intermittently regardless of the door or sensor position as well if it is turned on or off. The ice maker maker would periodically get a cube stuck in the rotating blades. Once I dislodged the cube it would make ice again. Again - no water is now making it into the actual maker. Checked for frozen line by removing ice maker. Seems or appears to be unobstructed. Is it the sensor or should I replace the entire ice maker?
