Converted from lp to ng with orifice 42 and limiter cap. Burner assembly diagram show spring and regulator also. Would those have been removed when previously converted to lp (different owner)? If they were removed and I just have the limitor cap installed, what is that doing? What do they do specifically?

I am not getting any gas out. The ignighter glows bright red, but I don't hear the valve open. So then the ignighter is de-energized, and the tub just keeps turning with no heat. Could this be caused by a bad regulator? It's natural gas. I checked that white fuse in the back with a meter, and it is good. Also, on the auto dry setting, it just keeps running, probably because of the no-heat situation. thank you!
