Most Interesting

I am having trouble with the bake cycle. The ignitor works but the oven takes a very long time to light off - 2 to 3+ minutes. If it lights the flame is very rich (yellow orange & smokey) and flames up the side of the oven. The broiler, timer and burners all works fine. I recently replaced the controller because we had a lighting strike - oven never worked properly since. I tried a replacement control valve with no change. I am looking at the pressure regulator p/n 74006429? We use propane gas - have had the range a long time. Settings were not a problem. Do you ship overseas Singapore or Brunei?

I need to change my magic chef range from natural gas to propane. Do I have to change the orifices out or is there a valve that I can readjust?

Latest Questions

I have a Maytag MGR5755ADW that was bought for use with propane. A gas main was just put in and I need to convert it from LP to natural gas. I have seen numerous posts about flipping a part in the regulator or the regulator having a set screw or lever that needs to be flipped between gases. When I remove the top of the regulator on my stove there is only a spring (no part to flip) and I do not see a lever on the hose or a set screw on the regulator PN#AP4095315. Can this regulator be used with natural gas? Do I need to buy a new regulator? What do I need to do to convert?
