I followed your tips and it appears the fuse is no good. My problem now is that I can't find it. Can you help? Thanks so much, Vincent
Answer Vincent, The thermal fuse 3390719 that controls the voltage to the motor, is located on the blower housing/exhaust duct in the lower area of the cabinet interior. Thanks and Good Luck
The dryer was working fine and then it would not start. I have replaced the burners and thermostat at previous times so it appears to me that this relay could be my current problem. Am I off base?
Answer Hi Vincent. This depends if when you press the start relay does the motor hum? Is the drum , belt and motor freely turning? Can you isolate the motor and it will then run? You can also quickly tell by looking into the clear sides and tell if the contacts are burnt. You can carefully choose to jumper the switch momentarily to see if the motor will run. Switch part # 348314. Thank You.
