Hello, I'm testing my existing 306199 relay, and there is infinite resistance between terminals A and B (the coil). That's incorrect, right? If it was working, the coil would measure a dead short right?

We were needing to replace out the heater relay (306199) but the picture shown here for this part is different than the one i pulled out of my dryer. Our current heater relay is a 1 point, whereas the one we ordered and received is a dual point. We heard it's the new one for this model, but i don't see how we can change the wiring/hook ups. any suggestions?

Hello, My heater relay seems to be defective. But it seems it is a 24VDC relay. On the diagram on the machine, it says the voltage for this relay as well a the motor relay is 24VAC. Could there be a mistake on the diagram?

The service tech shorted and melted part of the wall outlet while checking across the partially exposed plug for 220 voltage. When he came to, he told me I needed a new board and heater relay. I replaced the board and the dryer now works fine. I can not find the relay anywhere. There are 3 unused terminals on the board. Is it likely that the tech took the fried relay with him? Would the dryer still work without the relay? I can not find any unattached wires, any screws or any place the relay would go inside the control panel. Is it safe to run the dryer? Thanks, BARRY
