You will want to check the thermal fuses 3392519 which are located on the back of the unit. The fuses should have continuity and if they do not then they need to be replaced. If the thermals are blown you will want to check to make sure that the venting from the blower assembly to the outside of the home is clean as this is the most common reason for a thermal fuse to blow. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Can you jump the switch to see if it is bad? I have power but the dryer will not start.
Answer Hello Pete. No, test the switch and see if it closes when you press it. If so, it is good. Make sure the thermal fuse and the door switch is good on the unit as well.
