My side by side does nothing, lights come on, no fan and no compressor running. I took off the white overload and the black starter relay. The white overload rattles but the black one doesn't. Does the rattling overload mean that it is bad?

Answer Hello Michael. You will need to check and see if your getting power to the compressor. Also check and see if the unit is stuck in defrost mode. If so, you will need to change the timer 482493. Hope this helps.

Where can I find out how to put on start relay on my refridgerator?

Answer Hello Keith. Access the compressor and disconnect the power to the unit. Remove the cover off the side of the compressor and pull off the old relay. Now put the wires off the old relay onto the correct terminals on the new relay and slide it onto the prongs of the compressor of the unit.
