My side by side does nothing, lights come on, no fan and no compressor running. I took off the white overload and the black starter relay. The white overload rattles but the black one doesn't. Does the rattling overload mean that it is bad?

Latest Questions

Good Morning: I have a side by side that will run and cool/freeze for a day or two and then stops working and warms up inside. I was wondering if it could be a relay switch problem or the switch (can't remember name) that tells the unit to turn back on when it needs to. Thanks so much...Having to try and fix this myself. My refrigerator is not cooling. I hear the click when compressor sttempts to start, so I figure the start switch relay, compressor overload, or both. Problem is I can't find the exact match or even a cross reference part number that is correct. Can you please provide the correct part choices? Thank You

Sorry to bother you again...Answer helped some but the relay terminals are numbered only and can you verify that the RED wire to the overload connects to terminal 3; the BLUE wire to the Start connects to terminal 1 and the White wire to the Run connects to terminal 2? Even with my wiring diagram there is no reference to determine which connection is used. Thanks again. Bill
