The bad relay only has two larger terminals (on top) but there is another wire (white) that connects to the recepticle on the compressor. Do I take that white wire and connect it to the new relay, or leave it connected as is?

Answer Hi. The wiring diagram shows the red wire from the overload connects to one side of the relay. The other side has a blue wire from the capacitor . The capacitor also has a red wire that piggybacks with the red wire from overload. You will need to connect the white wire to the side where the blue wire is on the relay. Relay part # 2262181. Thank You.
Does this part take the place of the discontinued part # 1101014?

Answer Hello Jonathan! 2262181 is used on compressors that have been replaced before. The relay for the original compressor has been discontinued. You can purchase an overload which inlcudes the relay part number 819160. This replaces the old style relay and overload, instructions are included with the part. Hope this helps!
