Stacked unit. Washer sticks on rinse cycle. Cannot stop it with control panel. Sliding open washer door stops unit. If spin is selected, panel will count down as normal then panel will go blank as if cycle complete but tub keeps spinning until lid is slid open.
Nostep for Model Number Maytag LSE 9900 ADW
Answer Nostep, You're on target, but the wrong relay, W10133335 is the motor relay, and if the contacts are stuck closed, the motor will run whenever the lid is closed. You may want to replace both relays, but you decide. At what portion of the rinse cycle does the washer "stick" ? If it stops at the start of the cycle, you'll need to check the cold water supply to the washer, and the water level switch and air dome hose 206418, 22001616. if it's at the end or during the cycle, it could also be due to the failed relay.

Washer got wet. Dead. Found burn't spot on control. Changed control, still dead. Found bad transformer. Changed transformer. Washer programed filled and worked for half cycle, dead again. Water still in tub. Control burn't again. Dryer worked and heated before we lost control again, but failed in wash. Relay?
Ken for Model Number LSE1000 08
Answer Ken, There are a couple of things you may want to check first. Make sure all the interior components are dry. You may want to take a basic blow dryer and dry all the relays and wiring connections in the washer(especially the molex connector(umbilical) connections at the left rear corner of the washer top panel). Then check or replace the reversing relay W10133279 and the motor relay W10133335. If the washer started and ran but wouldn't spin/drain, the reversinr realy or wiring, would be the place to start. Thanks

The washer shuts off under heavy load and now when using both washer and dryer at the same time. This problem progressively is getting worse. Does this sound like a relay issue or something else. Thx
Sammy for Model Number Maytag sg1000
Answer Sammy, Are yiou sure you're maintaing 120 VAC to each unit when both are operating. If the voltage drops below 108 VAC when both or either unit is running, the control board will shut down, to save itself. If you're maintaining the proper voltage then you'll need to replace the main control board 33001048 located behind the keypad assembly, not a relay. Thanks and Good Luck
