Answer Hi Ed. You need to remove power. You need to remove the top grill. Then remove the top (of the control panel) metal plate as this will give you access to the hidden panel screw that is also on the top of the control panel. Un plug the control panel electrical noting them for reassembly. Then you release the inner latch release # 7 in the breakdown. Then you need to release the tabs that hold the inner springs of the back of the release buttons. At the top of the tabs are the plastic holder locks that pop up when properly inserted. Part # 8205525. Thank You.

Answer Ed, You won't need any "special tools", but you will need to unplug the power cord, remove the outer cabinet and slide it back off the frame. Remove the screws holding the control panel to the frame on the inside and carefully dismount the panel and work the assembly out through the opening. You have to be carefull with the latch switch actuator lever and the wiring, you can then remove the lever and release the button assembly and replace it. Good Luck and Thanks
