When the ice maker fills it spills over the front how do I adjust it
Answer Daryl, First check and make sure the refrigerator is level front to back and side to side, then check the ice maker for level. If the problem persists, remove the white plastic front cover of the ice maker on the right side of the control module, you'll see a white plastic screw. using a small flat blade screw driver, turn the screw clockwise to decrease the fill time and counterclockwise to increase the fill time. Adjust it 1/2 a revolution at a time, until the water level is correct, and no more than two complete revolutions.
Just installed a new ice maker, how long before it starts to make ice? It has been 3 hours, nothing. One wed site said up to 24 hours, is this true, or have we installed wrong? We followed your web to a T
Typically the icemaker can take up to 24 hours to start making ice. You will want to make sure that the water valve is getting power from the icemaker and check to make sure that the fill tube is not frozen.
