I RECEIVED THE CORRECT (YEA) RETAINER NUT FOR THE WASHER ARM OF MY KITCHEN AID DISHWASHER FROM YOU. THERE IS A …GASGET -?polyurethane ring- just below the main brim of the nut, perhaps for leakage?. Do I need to replace it too? If so, how- where do I find it? The current one is remodeled (melted) with exquisite new form.

Answer Sarah, The Radial bearing ring 9742946 serves two purposes, it acts as a seal, to keep the water in the spray arm and produce a higher rate of force on the water to clean the dishes, and it acts as a "smooth" surface for the sprat arm to turn or rotate on. If it's distorted, it needs to be repalced as well. Thanks
The wing on the retainer nut is broken off from the threaded part. I need to get the threaded part out of the opening. How?

Answer Hello Annette. You will need to try to use needle nose pliers to hold the nut to unscrew it. You can also try cutting a slot in the top of the nut and using a flat blade screwdriver to unscrew it. Hope this helps.
How do I remove the threaded part of the retainer nut from inside the wash arm?

Answer Hello Annette. You will hold the spray arm and turn the nut with the wing on top to remove it. Hope this helps.
