How do I put the retainer clip on? Without it the timer knob will not turn. I don't even see it in the diagram. Can you help?

Answer Hello David. You will need to pop the center knob insert 22001664 out of the timer knob. Push the timer knob onto the shaft of the timer. Then you will clip the retainer 211605 onto the shaft of the timer. Hope this helps.

Answer Hello! Once the timer cap 22001664 is removed (you can gently pry this off with a small screw driver) the timer knob 22001659 should pull off. Hope this helps!
