Answer Hello Matt. Check and see if the noise is coming from the milk stool bearing 12002013. If so, you will need to replace the milk stool. If not, and it sounds like it is coming from the friction ring, you will need to replace the friction ring 40037401. Hope this helps.

Answer Hello Pat. Check and make sure the balance ring 27001149 on the outer tub is good, and no holes are in it. It should have liquid inside the balance ring. Also, check and make sure the base 27001226 of the washer is not cracked. Look for hair line cracks in the base. If so, it will cause the problem you are having. If all of this is good, then the friction ring 40037401 could be bad. Hope this helps.
