Replaced both belts but transmission still does not move please send me advise
Motor pulley spins but is not tight so the belt turns the transmission. Please send me helpful solutions. Thank You
Answer Over4D, The roller kit would be a good pace to start, You need to remove the belts and make sure the motor and glide assembly move freely, back and forth, and the springs maintain a proper tension on the assembly, another quick test, slightly pull back on the motor assembly, in order to put more tension on the belt. Check your pump belt tension and adjust if necessary. there should be 1/8 to 1/4 inch clearance between the 2 inner belt surfaces, if you grip and squeeze the belt in the center. Otherwise, you'd have a bad transmission. Good Luck and Thanks
My neighbor has this Maytag stackable washer dryer, the repair man said it would cost her 175.00 to replace two rollers on the dryer. The part is $8.69 is she getting ripped off, her husband is in iraq and we have been helping her out with situations like this. Is it that difficult to replace these? Thank you.
Answer Hello Jonathon! The rollers on the dryer for model LSE7804ACE should be part number 12001541. Both should be replaced at the same time. To have a tech repair the appliance is quite expensive. He/She is more than likely charging for parts and labor to install. I have located a link on our repair forum that may help you understand the repair of this part, maybe you can help save by doing the repair :) Hope it helps!
