Answer Dennis, We wouldn't expect the rotor 280146 to make noise, it's pretty much stationary. You most likely have an issue with the tub bearings and shaft W10435302 and the tool W10447783 will be required to change out the parts.

Answer Jim, There is supposed to be a little water in the outer tub but there should be no water in the stator and rotor assembly. The shaft can be sanded slightly but it sounds like you are going to need a tub bearing kit W10435302 for the unit due to the water issue. There is also a tool you need for the tub bearing W10447783

Answer Hello Barbara. Loosen the bolt in the bottom of the unit by leaning the washer back or removing the back access panel depending on the model. Then once the bolt is loose, you pull the old rotor off and install the new rotor.

Answer James, You didn't mention any error codes in the display, so there ar several things you'll need to check. Make sure the washer is on a good level, solid floor, and as close to the floor as possible. Check and make sure the suspension rods,sockets and balls are clean and lubricated. Make sure the machine is properly loaded and the clothes are sorted properly. If you are having Error codes or display warnings, you'll want to check or replace the RPS and wiring harness W10183157 and make sure there are no loose connections or warped components.

Answer Hello Donny! No, the rotor 280146 does not include the rps sensor. For the rps sensor use part number W10183157. All parts in this kit must be replaced at the same time. Thanks!
