Code F51. Water starts and stops. Does the rotor need timed.
The rotor on the unit does not get timed. The F51 error code is a representation that the Rotor position sensor is faulty and would need to be replaced. The part number for the sensor is W10178988.
My Whirlpool Cabrio is giving me a UL code and it usually will stop the cycle when there is about 12-16 min remaining. Can you please tell me the reason for this and the parts that I would need to exchange.
The UL error code is an indication of an unbalanced load. The UL will appear when the machine/motor control detects an off balanced load, and is steady on while the washer runs a mini-cycle to rebalance the load. The display will clear if the mini cycle is successful at rebalancing the load. If the mini cycle is unsuccessful then the UL will flash until the door lid is opened. At this point you would need to redistribute the load. If this is unsuccessful then you will need to check the rods that support the tub and make sure that they are not damaged or that they are out of position. It may need to have the rods replaced.
My whirlpool washer is making loud noise at spinning cycle?
Answer Hello Kevin. The bearings are bad. You will need to replace the outer tub assembly W10193886 or the bearings W10435302 in the unit. You will need to order the tool W10447783 if just doing the bearings.
