I have a Maytag Bravo and we noticed water on the floor under the machine. I looked under the machine and notived water and a black greasy ring on the floor under the rotor. I also noticed the screw holding the rotor on had come loose and backed out of the rotor about 3/4 of an inche. I tightened this and blocked up the machine and run it thru the cycle. When it got to the agitating part of the cycle it was leaking around the rotor. I like the machine and want to fix it. Is this a seal ?

Just replaced bearings, shaft and seal due to water leaking and loud spin cycle. Wash basket spins very free. When I install rotor I am able to feel a drag or vibration. Do not see any place were this is touching still have f 54 fault code.

I am having a similar problem that I see so many others having. I get the UL code when the rinse and spin cycle starts. When the cycle starts, there is a rubbing sound. When the UL stops the drum, I open it and try rotating the drum the rubbing sound is still there. I thought it was the bearings, but I removed the rotor from the stator and then rotated the drum and the sound and resistance is gone and it rotates smooth and quiet. The rotor is covered in black dust. Do I need a new rotor? Thanx.

My Whirlpool Cabrio is giving me a UL code and it usually will stop the cycle when there is about 12-16 min remaining. Can you please tell me the reason for this and the parts that I would need to exchange.
