The cooling stopped on Both Sides. Freezer fan runs. Can't get Thermostat Control to start compressor. Removed Freezer panel and found coils are warm and there is no frost. What do I test or fix first?

My Jenn-Air refrigator seems to be working fine but it has developed an occasional loud buzzing noise that seems to last about 3 or 5 seconds which ends with a metalic click noise. Is something about to fail that I can proactively fix now? Noses seem to come from the bottom of the unit.
