My maytag dryer runs for about 5-10 min then cuts off. I turn it to the off switch till I hear a click then I am able to restart the dryer successfully. Any ideas what could be the problem

Answer Hello Ralph. If the unit needs to cool down until you hear a click, you will need to replace the motor W10410996. If the unit starts by turning the timer and not waiting, you will need to replace the timer 31001513. Hope this helps.
