Hi, The agitator and shaft are coming up in the tub at times. We are not having leaking problems. It's just that the shaft won't stay down. Is the torx srew what I need to hold it in place or something else?

If the agitator shaft collar 22002340 is off or missing, the upper transmission shaft will float up with the agitator, especially if the machine is overloaded. The transmission will have to be drained and fresh transmission oil will have to be installed to prevent the gears in the transmission from failing much sooner than they should.
