Most Interesting

Leaks lint all over house after I've just dusted and then launder linty items like towels. Lint catcher not catching nearly as much lint as it used to. Checked exhaust system that did not have hardly any lint in it. Took it all apart and clean it slick as a whistle. I think dryer is leaking lint into house from drum seals, blower seal, and any other seals that would keep lint in drum and force it to go out only where the lint catcher is. Want to replace all seals that could be letting lint out into house with highest quality replacement parts/materials. Worth it to me to get the highest quality so my labor will be worth it and I can quit having to dust and sweep house over and over again. Otherwise, dryer works great. Not noisy. Have always done loads on the small side so parts may not be worn that might be worn had it been used harder. On inside of drum, I can see felt is not evenly applied and, in some places, there is glue showing with no felt sticking to it. These places look like they would leak lint. I also noticed from the back there may have been a rubber-type or stretchy seal that near front of lint exhaust pipe that looks old and saggy. Maybe this needs to be replaced. I want to replace all possible seals that could cause leaking of lint into home. I'm a meticulous worker and I think if I have good materials and good directions that I can do a better job than some sloppy repairman in a hurry not taking time to do it right.
