Answer Hello Jerry, The correct door seal for your unit is part number 99002588 and you do just remove old seal and starting from the center point push new seal into groove.

Answer Lee, Yes, a missing corner door seal, could create a small leak at the corner of the door. You will also want to check the lower wash arm 6-917642, make sure there are no cracks in the seams or debris in the spray arm jet openings, directing the water spray along the bottom of the door

Answer Hello Jeff. From the diagram, it seems that the door insert 99002589 is between the door inner panel and the door. The door will need to come apart for the installation. They attach to the bottom of the inner door panel. There are two inserts used on the dishwasher, one for each side. Thanks!
