Water leaking when tub is spinning, also looks like water has been in the bearing above transmission. Told (by repair shop) that there are three different types of seals that were used on this model. Can you tell me a part number based on the serial number?

My Amana washer is leaking from the bottom center, right around the bearings. I just replaced the drive bell and seal with no change. Any other suggestions on how to fix this? I did have concerns/questions with the drive bell and seal repair - do I need the seal tool to properly do this? I found a piece of pvc pipe that fit around the seal to push down on it, taped it tight with a mallet. I also pushed down on the top end of the seal as the instructions said (with a small piece of pipe) but it didn't really do anything. thanks in advance for any help

Maybe I didn't make myself clear. To replace the spin belt, a part was lowered, Maybe that was the motor, don't know, but when I open the lower cover, I see some water at the bottom most part. Maybe that's the lower motor mount? The guy who put the belt on (Igot it from you all) said, it might leak cause he didn't replace a gasket? Does that help?
