Answer Jan, These are "slip on" door seals, the hardest part is the last corner. The trick is , soak the new seal in the tub in hot water, it'll be more flexible and easier to work with, and keep a blow dryer handy(in case). when the seal has soaked a while, grasp the original seal in the middle of the top span and pull up, you'll see how the back lip of the door seal slips into the gap between the plastic door liner and the metal flange of the door panel. Install the new seal in the reverse procedure, as I said the last corner can be difficult, and warming the area with a blow dryer will help to get a proper alignment. Once the seal is installed, use a spoon, and press down on the outer edge of the seal and "lock" it in place, Then smooth out the magnetic flat part of the seal as best possible. Put a small coat of Vaseline on the magnetic flat part of the seal on the hinge side of the new seal, this will help in the closing and sealing of the door. Leave the oor closed as long as possible, so it conforms to the metal flange. Thanks and Good Luck.
