the upper and lower arms do not seem to be spinning during the wash cycle.the lower arm seems to have water coming out of the washer arm holes but the upper does not.i cleaned the arms and ran a cleaner thru a cycle but the glasses on the top rack are not getting cleaned .i noticed that the upper half of the door is not getting cleaned.what can the problem be?
Answer Dan, Do you recall any strange "grinding" noises during the previous cycles , especially in the wash portion of the cycle ? If not, check the water level in the bottom of the tub,. after a cycle is started, allow the machine to run 3 to 5 minutes, then unlatch the door , and wait a few seconds. Remove the lower rack and check the water level. The water level should be in contact with the bottom of the heater element(at least) and check the water temperature, it should be at least 120 dgrs. F. at this time. Low water level and low wash water temps. can produce the results you're describing. Good Luck and Thanks
Top rack does not get wet. If we put glass upright, it does not get any water in it.
Answer Hello George. Check and see if the water level in the unit is low. If so, it will cause the unit to not wash properly and you will need to replace the water valve W10158389. Hope this helps.
