Answer Hello Rich, The way I do it may be unconventional, but it works. Heat the tape with a hair dryer and slowly peel the tape up as you continue to heat it. It will surprise you how easy the tape comes off once you get the edge peeled up.

Answer Rich, there is a door frame W10115024 located in the inner portion of the door (between the inner panel 8172113 and outer door panel R9900256). The door frame is available for purchase however, it is a special order item. Is this the part you are needing? Thanks!
