Please explain how to replace front Tumber Seal
Answer Hi Steve. Remove the power. Use a putty knife to release the 2 front panel clips and lift up on the top. They are approx. 3 " in from the sides on top of the front panel. Support the top. Then look inside the front cover from the top and locate the 2- 5/16" bolts towards the top of the front panel. Then you lift the front panel away from the front. Mark the door switch wires so you can reconnect them. Then you will be at the front inner panel that the backside is the front tumbler seal in question. Then you reach in from the lower rt. side so that you can remove the tension on the belt. Then you can concentrate on removing the front panel 4 - 5/16" bolts. Then you will be able to lift the front panel up and off. Make sure the lower lint tray to blower hsg. seal is intact. Now you have the front panel off. You can use the drive belt positioned at the center of the tub. Lift up on the slack of the belt and use this to carry it out of the cabinet. Now you very carefully lift up on all the clips holding the felt seal and replace the new one onto it. Don't feel bad if a couple out of the bunch of clips break off due to age and being slightly brittle. Tumbler seal part # 33313541. Get your vacuum out and the rat tail brush to clean all you can. This helps longevity. Thank you.
