I noticed that my KitchenAid KUDE60FXSS4 dishwasher was missing a tab on the right side, thus the cause of a minor leak under the door. Therefore, I ordered a new bottom door seal and it is obvious that the one currently on the dishwasher is damaged. Although the dishwasher is under warranty, this was only a $4 part. Therefore, I felt that this was the way to go and not schedule a technician and miss a day of work. I was hoping that there would be instructions on how to install. Does the existing one just snap off with a putty knife or do I need to remove the back cover? Assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Dishwasher is only 1 yr. 3 mos. old. Dripping water out bottom of front door. Not a lot, but enough from keeping us from using the dishwasher due to potential cabinet damage from water. Dishwasher has been installed level and just started doing this about one week ago. I looked at the vent on the inside of the inner door and it does not have an o-ring. Could this be part of the problem?
