The bottom dryer will only dry for a short time and then it shuts off for a few minutes then comes back on for a few minutes and then finally just shuts off completely. It heats up ok and sometimes it will run completly through a cycle with no problems. I cleaned out the vent and even installed new vent hose. I also took apart the front of the dryer and cleaned out everything which had never been done since it was new. It was a mess.

My dryer is not heating and I only have 120 volts to the element. The continuity seems to check ok on the thermal fuses and the high Limit sensor. I'm at a loss as to what could be wrong.

When try to dry a load of clothes I can only dry on 20 minute or on less dry, I replaced the timer and dryness control, cleaned off sensor, still will not dry from any timer setting in the intellidry mode. Timer is only 6 months old. I have not replaced the sensor or the chime switch. The heating element works fine. Any idea.

My wife is saying the the cloths will not dry when using sensor dry. They run the 50-60 minute cycle yet are still damp. When run on timer for 50-60 minutes they are dry. I've not experienced this myself yet. The last time I ran the dryer, a few days ago, I went back a couple hours later and found the cloths damp, but learned that she had turned the dryer off when she ran out for an errand and forgot to turn it back on when she returned. The the duct seems to be clear and the sensor appears to be clean but I've heard that dryer sheets can coat sensor and make them not work.

My dryer is not shutting off or even registering the clothes are dry when using the sensor settings. Am having to use the timed dry. Could it be that the sensor bar needs to be replaced?
