Having problem getting our Amana Big Oven to turn on. Burners work and I can get the oven to work when I set the temperature control to Broil or Clean, but once I change the temperature, the ignitor eventually begins to dim and the gas gets shut off. I tested OHM to the oven sensor and reads 1.09k ohms and the Ignitor reads 65.3ohms. From what I have read, the oven sensor is supposed to read 1000-1100 ohms and the Ignotor is supposed to read 0-1100 ohms. Everything I have read points to a defective ignitor, but the ignitor is well within the ohm range and the oven sensor reading to me is very being bad.....and I have replaced the ignitor. Is it possible that the temperature sensor is sending an incorrect reading to the control head to keep the ignitor from heating up....or is my ignitor defective?

When setting oven temperature, say to 350 it goes about 500+, stays there for 10 minutes then gradually goes down to temp set in about 15 minutes, unless I open the door for a few minutes to hurry things along. What part do I need? Thank you for this service!!!

My oven has stopped operating after having no known issues. The broiler still works as does the the stove top burners. I suspect the sensor. I put an ohm meter on it and I get no reading at 200 setting. At 20k I got a reading of 1.08. Applying heat and the number increased to 2.4. My oven will not heat up past low. It seems to get a little warm, but will not register any degrees on the digital display. Is this a sensor problem or maybe an ignitor problem or something else all together. The burners still work okay.

Oven temp not accurate. Most of the time it is 100-150 degrees less than what I set it at. Could the oven sensor be faulty? or is it something else?
