I want to know how to do is to disconnect the wire harness? The 2 plastic parts. How do I disconnect? I have watched the videos. I can take the machine aprt and put together, but I can't release these things. PLEASE help me!

Answer Hello Tanya. If you look closely, you will see small tabs locking the two pieces together. You will insert a flat screwdriver under the plastic lip and pry the lip up so the tabs will slide under it and unplug.

I disconnected a wire/washer combo that went through a screw that held the white lint filter screen in place. I forgot to put that wire/washer back ( I believe I lost it or dropped it). Now the dryer will not work on timed dry mode. It starts and then shuts itself off in a matter of minutes. I looking for the right part number to replace the lost wire/washer. Sears part store tells me I need part # 3406653, but I look at pictures of it and it does not even have a wire with a washer at the end of it which is all I lost. Please help. I thought about just going to HD or Lowes and looking for a simple wire with a washer at the end of it and reconnecting it.

Answer Hello Kevin, Based on the information the part you are looking for would appear to be part of the wiring harness and cannot be gotten as a separate part.

Any chance you know if the black wire from the wire harness plugs in on top and if the white one goes on the bottom??

Answer Hello Dean, This is a one way sensor and goes from moist to moist return. It should not matter which side you would hook to which.

Hi I have a Question About My Dryer in the digital panel say FP what is that

Answer Lorenzo, It's most likly a "P F" code. This would indicate a power failure, or a low voltage situation. You may want to check and make sure the power cord connections at the terminal block are good and tight, and that the outlet maintains 240 VAC when the dryer is running.
