My dryer wont run. Here are the symptoms: I can turn the unit on (control on) and select a drying setting (automatic or manual cycles. The appropriate estimated time display changes normally. When I press HOLD TO START button, the unit clicks and the "sensing"status light stays on, but the drum doesnt turn nor does heating begin. In Test mode: all lights function, etc. When I open the door - there is a single beep and code 39 comes up on the display. I have replaced: the two moisture sensing bars, the moisture sensing harness, thermistor and thermal fuse. I still have the same symptoms and the same response in test mode. What is my next step? My dryer stops running a few minutes after I start it. I can keep changing temperature settings and sometimes it keeps running and sometimes it does not. Sears told me the wiring harness is no longer available as this is a 2002 model. Is your sensor wiring the same thing? The thermistor is still available. Thank you Laura

Powers up, won't start, all light are on the control panel. Diagnostic test flashes F-28 (Moisture Sensor), I replaced the moisture sensor, thermistor and that did not work. Also I did replace the thermal fuse and igniter. I checked the OHMs for the thermal cut-offs and they had continuity. I think I am looking at replacing the harness/connections and the machine control electronics. What do you say? Ron

The automatic dry side does not work at all. the timed dry does work. that is problem one.. what part(s) do I need? Secondly, the noise eminating from the dryer sends us out of the house. I am going to assume it is the pulley wheel, idler? and as long as I am there replace the belt. do I have to take the drum out of the front as on the video or can I change the belt while the back is off and can see the pulley wheel and where things are to go? I am not tall and arms won't reach blindly as this is my first attempt
