Water don't stop running in and it does not make ice our freezer is full of ice because it did not quit running

Answer David, You're on the right track, you most likely have a fill valve solenoid that has stuck open. You'll need to move the refrigerator out enough to access the back,unplug the power cord and make sure the water supply is turned off all the way, remove the compressor compartment cover and replace the water valve W10408179. Answer Jack, You don't need a service valve. If your icemaker won't fill with water and produce cubes, it's more likely a fill valve issue 4318046 where the solenoid circuit has failed and won't allow the water to fill. It could be an icemaker circuit issue, and could require a new icemaker 4317943. You will need to get behind the unit, remove the lower access panel, access the wiring at the fill valve and check for a circuit or voltage to the solenoids from the ice maker to varify the circuitry, Thanks and Good Luck
