Their is no lip on the shaft, just a shined up area where the collar rides on the shaft.

Answer Hello Scott. There is a lip just above the o-ring on the shaft. You can see it in the 2nd picture on the shaft parts page. If your lip is gone, you will need to replace the shaft. Hope this helps.

Answer Hello Scott. You should not need to change the shaft. Tap the shaft back inside the transmission and make sure it is seated properly. Then the collar will clip over the lip on the shaft and snap in the grove on the brass fitting. Hope this helps.

Answer The agitator shaft collar 22002340 (looks like a big white C) holds the agitator shaft to the transmission. If this has came loose or has broken the agitator shaft will pull out when the agitator is pulled up.
