This is a follow up to my question about how to remove a drive motor shaft stuck to the fan. Is the fan shaft stuck to the drive shaft or is there another part between them? If I get the fan blade unscrewed will I be able to pull the drive motor out and replace it?

I am trying to remove the motor (279827) and cannot get it to break lose from the fan blade shaft with out stripping it. Note: the Fan blade looks a little banged up also. What can I do other than junking the whole dryer. Is the shaft AP5176393 above a possible solution?
