My Kitchenaid electric oven undercooks food. Turn on Bake, starts at 170D and in 10 minutes goes to 350D. Problem it's really not 350D as displayed. Set Bake to 400D and in 11 minutes it displays 400D, internally it's less than 350D.

Answer John, The issue with your wall oven, could be the oven temp. sensor 4451665. But first you need to varify the actuall temperature. You'll need an accurate thermometer or temperature probe, you'll need to have it placed "dead" center of the oven cavity. select a test temperature and pre heat the oven at least 15 to 20 minutes. Then allow the oven to cycle at least three times, while noting the temperature(s). Then average the temperatures. If the average temperature is within 25 dgrs of the selected temperature, your oven is cycling and heating properly. You can "recalibrate" the control using the control board and key pads if needed. if the temperature is beyond 25 dgrs, then replace the oven temp. sensor.
