On the solenoid part #6-904023, is the plunger suppose to come out of the solenoid?
Answer Hello Randy,
Yes, the plunger is supposed to come out of the solenoid. This is the way it is made and perfectly normal.
can you tell me how to install spring for flapper
Answer Karen, The return spring 8181651 needs to be inserted into the smaller opening on the "D" shaft crank. and the other end of the spring will be inserted into the opening of the tab, on the top od the solenoid 6-904023. Be careful not to overstretch the spring, the tension won't be correct, and could cause other issues with improper wash and drainage. Thanks
