The broiler has stopped working and since then the oven will randomly "pop" on to the self cleaning mode all by itself, which has caused some problems.

Answer Gary, If the broil selection won't work/program, and the range is programming a self clean cycle on it's own and randomly, you first check or repair needs to be the ERC/Clock 3196933 (only the white clock is available).
My manual does not show me where the solenoid part is located. Can you tell me exactly where to find it?

Answer Hello HCBENOIT. The solenoid assembly 3196125 is located under the cooktop where the door lock assembly is located. Here is a link to the parts diagram page to help you locate it.
