Bought all four spacers. Is there a corresponding clip or something that goes through the middle hole?
Answer Hi. This clip is used as spacer in between the top and the upper cabinet in the front. On the cabinet top lt. and rt. sides. There are screws part # 681414 that passes through the inside of the cabinet, up through the clip and into the bottom of the top. Holding the top onto the cabinet. Thank You.
How do I remove the top of the washer? Most Washers, you slide a putty knife under the top in front and unclip some clips. This washer doesn't seem to have them. From the parts diagram there appears to be a screw on each side in the back, but to access this it requires you to remove the back. In this case how do you remove the back?
Answer Hello Duane. Disconnect the power to the unit. Remove the two screws in the front corners of the control panel securing the control panel. Pull the control panel forward and flip it backwards. Next unplug the lid switch and remove the two brass colored clips securing the cabinet to the back wall using a flat blade screwdriver to pry them out. Pull on the front of the cabinet and slide the cabinet off the frame of the washer. Reinstall in reverse order.
