At the start of the spin cycle the machine makes noise but then smooths out. The noise is not a constant whir or grind. It is more of a whoop, whoop noise as if sometihing was off-center or not seated properly.

I put a new transmission in. It worked great for a couple of days. Now it won't go in to spin. clothes are still wet. Talked to repair guy he said I didn't tighten spanner nut good and that would have wrecked something else but I don't remember What part he said. Any ideas he said it was very common.
