My igniter for the oven is sparking, my gas valve is humming and my oven will not light. The stove top lights fine. Do I need this igniter board or the control board?

Latest Questions

Nothing sparks on my gas range. Not the broiler, oven or cook tops. I can light the cook top boilers with a match, but not the oven or broiler. Would this be the spark module, or could it possibly be something else?

I've had the reignition board replaced once about 15mos ago (of course it's past the parts warranty) and it appears that it needs to be replaced again. Same issues as before...the oven / bake element would intermittenly not light...sometimes when just starting, other times while in the middle of baking. Now it will not light at all tries to ignite 4 times and then shuts off to only try again a bit later, without success. How difficult is it for a fairly handy / technical consumer to replace this part? It is a Whirlpool free standing range/oven Model # WFG374LVQ1 Serial # RY4314267 Thank you, Sherry

I have a Accubake oven but the bake and boiler have no flame. There is no click on bake and two clicks on Broiler. I replaced the main circuit board and the bake and broiler still do not have flames. I tested the J1-1 (red wire) and J1-2 (orange wire) for continuity to the Bake valve and the circuit is open. I tested the J1-2 (orange wire) and J1-3 (blue wire) to the broiler for continuity and the circuit is closed (circuit is complete). Is it the spark module, wiring to the bake valve or gas distribution valve? John.
