My washer will not spin, everything else is ok. I found that one of the prongs of the spin tube thrust washer is broken, coul that be the cause of the no spin condition.

Answer Hello Nato. There are several parts to check. First, the clutch assembly. If the spin tube washer is broke, you may have a drive basket issue or a bearing issue. You will need to determine which part caused the washer to break.
My washer will go into it's spin cycle but doesn't seem to complete it's spin into the higher speed spin out. The water drains out alright but the clothes are still pretty wet. What's my problem here?

Answer Valerie, You most likely have a slipping clutch 285785 or cracked, bent motor coupler 285753A. You do want to check and make sure theres nothing between the two tubs, causing a drag on the tub. You'll need to remove the cabinet from the washer frame in order to investigate. We'll send you some basic information that should help.
