My spinner has not fallen off but doesn't seem to be spinning which is leaving the top rack of dishes dirty. Does the entire spinner need to be replaced? Thank you for any guidance here.
Gary for Model Number DU1100PBA
Answer Gary, The first thing to check, is the water level in the bottom of the tub, and the filter on the top of the pump assembly for debris and deposits. Start the dishwasher allow it to fill and wash for 5 minutes, unlatch the door and wait a few seconds, Remove the lower rach and check that the water level is in contact with the bottom of the heater element(at least) if not, you don't have enough water to produce the proper pressure and flow to feed the upper wash arm, and will most likely need a new fill valve W10158389 . Good Luck and Thanks
The spinner, 3rd level wash part#8557720, fell off. Can I still run the dishwasher until I have it fixed next week? Thanks.

Answer Hello Missy. Yes, you can run the dishwasher, but it will not clean the dishes properly and they will be dirty. It is best to wait until the spinner 8193983 is repaired on the unit. Hope this helps.
Do you take the flat supply arm off to put this on?
Richard for Model Number 8193983
Answer Richard, Yes, you will need to remove the water tube, to access the mounting tab for the upper spray arm. Two torx tip screws on the tube at the back and top of the tub, carefully disconnect the water tube from the pump accumulator(top), and remove the tube. Once removed, you will install the new spray arm and insert the locking pin and snap them together. Thanks and Good Luck
