Answer Ed, Sounds like a worn out set of damper pads 203956 . The pads are glued to the base and set between the damper assembly 203725 and the base 22002150. You'll need to remove the front panel and check for the damper pads to be worn out or sticking out from between the damper and the base. It's an easy repair, only a 4X4 block of wood is needed as a special tool, and basic hand tools do the rest. Good Luck and Thanks
