Answer Hello Frances. You will need to remove the front panel and check the dampers 203956 to see if they are worn or have come off. If so, it can cause the problems your having. Hope this helps.

Answer Hello Frances. If there is no set screw, you will need to pull the agitator upward to remove the agitator. These can be very tight to remove. Hope this helps.

Answer Hello Frances. There is a set screw in the side of the agitator. Loosen the set screw and lift the agitator off the unit. Hope this helps.
