The spring latch came out of the icemaker. How do I replace it?

Answer Hi Jack. Remove ice bin. Turn crusher bin hsg. upsidedown. Install the release handle from the hole opening,using inner grooves/ guides to place handle/release latch. Use needle nose to put spring on one end of latch and then to finger provided for tension of spring. The spring is part # 2198608. There are not any written instructions. Best of luck. Thank you.

Answer Nicole, Yes, the bin latch and spring are located in the bottom of the crusher bin. The spring fits inside the open slot in the latch lever.
